Navy pumps would be a great alternative to black or grey.  Pair them with burgundy, emerald, purple, or other neutrals.  They’re a little different, but still work as a basic.

Am I the only one who doesn’t love Sam Edelman shoes? I see them featured everywhere, but when I’ve gone to try them in Nordstrom’s (both pumps and booties) they are stiff and uncomfortable. I think they’re really cute but not worth the price for the pain–again, is it just me?

I’ve owned Sam Edelman ballet flats (the Felicia) in “classic nude” for about a year. While the shoes are comfortable, they don’t have much arch support. For the price, I haven’t been impressed with how my pair has held up. I wear the flats weekly, but I think they would be okay for occasional use. Not a commuter shoe.

I love my Sam Edelman boots! I’ve bought several pair and they’re all still going strong. Except for the pair my dog chewed, I will miss those forever.
