Love #3 and #9, way to make us think! It’s so easy for hobbies to fall by the way side for a lot of other reasons to. For me, my two year old takes up most of my waking time, and unless I want to become a sleep deprived mess some types of hobbies become unreasonable. BUT…luckily one of my hobbies is cooking, so I make sure when I have some free time I try new recipes or make oldies but goodies for the family.
#9…wow. Makes you think huh. I don’t personally feel drawn to any jerks, female or male. There are men who are decent and kind and considerate, and that’s always going to be the type of man I look up to, want the approval of, and seek time with. Working in a male-dominated industry really demonstrates that there are all types, you just have to look for the good ones.
I highly recommend a Lululemon yoga mat over Manduka. I invested in a Manduka yoga mat earlier this year, and they are SO slippery! Some fellow yoga instructors said that Lululemon mats are much better. If you decide to go with Manduka, invest in a yoga towel too.
I agree that the Manduka PRO and PROlite can be a bit slippery (especially if not used often), but the eKO line has a nice, grippy texture to it.
+1 to lululemon mats per Rachael. The ones that absorb your sweat, are antimicrobial, and get grippier with moisture. I use it for hot yoga sculpt classes and would never want to use another mat! Great for non-hot yoga too.
+1 to slippery Manduka mats. I bought a Manduka Prolite last year but ultimately had to invest in another mat because I could not stop slipping. I like Lululemon’s the mat; no towel needed in power yoga or yoga sculpt classes even when a sweaty mess.
