I love my cognac boots.  Love ’em, can’t live without ’em.  Here, they’re worn with white jeans.  They can also be worn with black, with navy, and with prints.  They really pull together an outfit.

The shape of these boots is a little bit different, but still functioning as a basic.  For something a bit more affordable, these Anne Klein boots have a clean look and a comfy rubber sole (also in black).  Sole Society also makes a similarly shaped boot for $139.  I also like these suede over-the-knee boots.

Need wide calf boots?  I found these Arizona boots and these Steve Madden boots made with an elastic panel for extra give.  Narrow calf?  These Blondo boots are the closest thing I could find.

I’m distracted by the green Goyard tote in the photo. Why must these be everywhere, in every color? They went from kind of cute for plastic to basic as hell in the span of a few months.

For wide calf boots, the Sam Edelman Penny boots are great. https://shop.nordstrom.com/S/3302621

Love the sweater. Has anyone seen anything similar?

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
