Morning Line: November 3

Nov 3, 2015

With the holidays on the horizon, I’ve been thinking about improving my casual wardrobe.  Bringing in a few trendier pieces, replacing a few basics, adding in some new items.  I thought this week, I could fill the morning posts with casual-wear pieces that can breathe a little life into your weekend attire.

I’ve warmed up to the idea of distressed jeans as long as they don’t reach that fully destroyed look.  These open knee jeans in black caught my eye.  These deeply discounted Hudson jeans are a good buy.  Old Navy also has a pair that are worth a look.

Plus-size? This Forever21 pair is an affordable option.  Petite?  Try J.Crew Factory.

I still can’t get on board. I wear jeans to work so I need a pair that fits perfectly and can be dressed up for work or down for the weekends, and distressed denim just can’t do that so it doesn’t get a spot in my closet.

That said, I love it on other people, although her knees look cold to me now.
