Morning Line: August 31

Ponchos are big for fall.  The trick to finding one that looks flattering is to avoid anything that looks like a serape and instead, choose something that looks like an oversized cardigan.  They’re very warm for traveling and a good alternative to an oversized scarf if you get cold at the office.

This is definately something on my fall wardrobe capsule list but I am challenged in how to style, perhaps for a casual Friday or over the weekend? And how best to style for different body frames, especially petite? Thanks!

Belle, you need to go hit Costco. They have some beautiful wool/cashmere ponchos for $20. There is a solid black one and then some color blocked options. I bought a black one and then went back a couple of days later to get a second one to leave at the office. And for only $20, it’s a steal.

The Find: Bright and Striped

For the past few years, the wardrobes of many influencers have tilted toward the beige and boring.  I’m all for a good basic, but staple pieces can only take you so far.  Sometimes, you need to wear something that has a little something extra, and this sale-priced tee certainly does.
