Envelope Neck Top ($46) // Ponte Pencil Skirt ($62) // Ballerina Flat ($62)

Ah, casual Friday, what to wear?  Boden makes a lovely, classic Breton tee in a variety of colors.  I like this envelope neck tee for something a little different.  For something truly unique, try this printed jersey top with a subtle sequin accent.

I added this pencil skirt for a bit of color.  If you prefer pants, these Chelsea turn-ups are perfect.

As for the shoes, I threw in these fun ballet flats.  They also make a similar pair in pale gold.  I also like these red t-bar flats.

So does your office do casual Fridays?  What do you wear?

I love the shape of envelope neck tops, but I always struggle with my bra straps peeking out. A strapless bra for the workday seems like a lot of fuss (but so is constantly tucking my straps away)… any tips?

My casual Friday outfits can vary wildly in how casual they are. I’ve worn a black jersey maxi skirt and a plain grey tshirt, a striped maxi dress with a denim jacket, and today I’m wearing dark cuffed skinny jeans with a black camisole and a beautiful black lace blouse from Banana Republic.

Any ideas for casual outfits that don’t involve striped shirts? I’ve had a couple on heavy rotation and feel like I need a change.

Sure, I like a long tunic button up over skinny pants. I also like a colored pencil with a v-neck tee or graphic tee.

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here.  (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]
