Morning Line: June 30

Jun 30, 2015

I know I’ve been talking about the LOFT a lot lately, but they are killing it right now.  Their current offerings are a nice mix of good basics and trendier pieces for summer.

As for the quality, given the lower price point and frequent sales, I’m generally impressed by the composition of the clothes.  The fabrics are mostly synthetics or blends (tis true), but they don’t fall apart like so many mid-price (J.Crew) or bargain (Charlotte Russe) brands.  Here are my favorite pieces they have on offer right now.

How great is this deep purple color?

Trapeze Swing Dress ($89)

Space-dye Short-sleeve Sweatshirt ($35)

Don’t miss the back on this dress.  They also have an understated short-sleeved version.

Also, LOFT is offering 60%-off sale items.  The pieces below are my favorites from the sale.

Constellation Ear Crawlers ($19)

I completely agree – LOFT has been getting most of my shopping money the past couple of seasons. The styles just seem fresh and current and fun to me, they fit my body well, and I’m happy with the quality. Love their linen tees, casual skirts, and skinny pants.

  2. LOFT is super underrated — style and fit are great, prices are fair (and the frequent flash sales are lovely). The outlet stores are great, too.

A few months ago, my husband killed two of my plants. I was out of town for several weeks, and while I was away, he apparently forgot that plants need water to live. So when I returned, my snake plant and my Calamondin tree were both dead, while his braided money tree continued to thrive. […]

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
