Boden is quickly becoming one of my favorite stores for casual and business casual attire. True, some of the prints are garish, but there’s usually a diamond of simplicity in the tacky rough. And the craftsmanship is a little better than other manufacturers in the price point; the nicer jersey dresses are lined with a thin material to make them less see-through.
I own this t-shirt dress. I really like it, and I get a lot of compliments when I wear it. The grey and orange combination is a bit unique. This geo-printed tunic dress is another good option.
A white blazer is a great addition to most wardrobes. Their Tux jacket has a clean shape and simple look that makes it a really versatile piece. It would look great with navy trousers and the Dolly top next to it. The color combination in the top makes it a great complement to navy separates.
Lastly, Boden’s casual work dresses are wonderful for Fridays or more relaxed offices. I like this printed dress, and also the solid-color Westminster dress. And their short-sleeve wrap will keep you cooler on hot summer work days.
I’ve not ordered anything from Boden yet but want to. How’s their return policy and your thoughts on general ease of doing business? I’m actually UK (recent American transplant) based now and havent tried ordering online here yet.
Excellent customer service so far. They even fully refunded a shirt that was a gift which shrunk upward in the wash. (And seriously, what is with everything shrinking up.)

Crystal, do you get the tab that says something with (1×1)? I get that for some affiliate links when I’m at work – something to do with security, I think. They all work fine when I’m at my home computer.
I have the same problem as Crystal, but since it’s only ever with the Boden links and nothing else, there’s got to be something that can be done…
It links through Shopstyle, but then when it tries to go to Boden I received the error “OOPS! Your offer could not be found…”

I’m obsessed with Boden. They usually have a promo for free shipping with a minimum purchase amount, and returns are super easy too. They have a little “tool” for helping determine your size based on what you wear at other stores. I used to be devoted to J Crew, but never shop there anymore because of their quality issues. And that’s the best part about Boden…the quality!
Huge fan of Boden. Quality is what JCrew used to be (in the good old days). Good source of work-appropriate dresses.
My favorite thing about their site is that they post actual garment measurements, so you can see how big/small something runs before ordering.
Big fan of Boden and the quality for the price point. Very happy with my purchases. Returns were super easy but they do charge for return shipping. I have ordered a few things where the prints are more garish in person than on a computer screen so I prefer to buy multiple things knowing I’ll return half.
Wore my first Boden dress today and I love it!
I absolutely adore Boden – in a given week, I usually wear at least 2-3 items. I am tall and am so thankful for the wide variety they offer in tall. You didn’t mention their pants, Belle, but I have a couple different styles (Bistro Trouser and Crop, CHelsea Turn Up, wide leg trousers) and have been really happy with their quality.
Their customer service has been wonderful. Some items ship to the states from the UK (some come out of Philadelphia for me, in the deep South) so if you need something asap, that can be a problem.
