This outfit from Wendy’s Lookbook is great for casual Friday if your office isn’t that casual.  Because, let’s face it, some offices will never embrace jeans on Friday.

A white blazer is a great piece for any time of year.  This Mango blazer is a great place to start.  Need two buttons?  This Calvin Klein blazer is a great option.  Plus-size?  This Modcloth blazer is the way to go.

Chambray shirts pair well with a large number of pieces.  Wear them with a floral pencil skirt, colorful trousers, or a pair of printed shorts.  This Gap one is nice because it’s simple.  If you want one a bit darker, try this top from Old Navy.

The slim, ankle trouser is a nice alternative to jeans.  But I love the look of black denim, so try these AG Farrah jeans.  Like the distressed look?  These 7 for all Mankind jeans are sale-priced.

I like the headband updo, but it never looks right one me.  Instead, I recommend this slightly messy bun.

I love a chambray button up with black jeans, got to avoid the dreaded Canadian tuxedo look! I usually put a white tank underneath peaking out for that pop, I’ve never mastered layering a blazer over a thick shirt, gets all bunchy and annoying.

Fantastic look for casual Friday at my office, and I already have everything except the white blazer, which is on the list for my June birthday. Love it when that happens. Thanks!

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
