Forever21 Faux Leather Weekender ($35, also in black)

The word ‘weekender’ might lead you to believe that this bag and its kin are uni-taskers suitable only for their stated purpose.  However, these large satchels make great airplane bags, diaper bags, and gym bags.

This blush-colored satchel from Forver21 has a sleek look and some cool details.  This black H&M weekender offers a chic slouchier shape.  And this barrel-shaped Sole Society weekender is one of the most popular options on the market.

Not into faux-leather?  The Lipault nylon bags are a great option.  This striped canvas bag from Baggu is perfect for the beach.  And people rave about Everlane’s duffle-style weekender.

I’ve heard great things about Everlane; how do their bags hold up? I’m looking at replacing my faux lether work tote with one of reverse denim ones and my husband actually needs a new weekend-type bag. We tend to be hard on bags/luggage, though. Also, I couldn’t find any pictures of the interior, does anyone know if there are any sort of organizational pockets on the inside of their bags, or is it just an open space?

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here.  (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]
