1) A group of actresses turned the gender-equality PSA on its head to discuss the disparate treatment of men and women in Hollywood.  And it’s kind of hilarious.

2) I adore this bracelet from Kenneth Jay Lane.  It slides to fit most wrist sizes, and looks like a chic fisherman’s knot.

3) Grub Street discusses the sudden popularity and precarious future of the avocado.  The article contains some interesting facts about the avocado, like that most Mexican avocados are grown on land controlled by drug cartels.

4) The Reiss Outlet let’s you snag their fashionable pieces at drastically reduced prices.  This navy frock would be great for a summer wedding.  I also love this gorgeous, wrap-style skirt.

5) A California teacher is on the brink of being fired.  His crime?  Refusing to regularly search his students for weapons.

6) I spotted this cheeky makeup bag at Sephora and had to have it.  I also love this one with rose gold embossed details.

7) Need your shoes and handbags repaired and reinvigorated?  Fast Company covers Cobbler Concierge, a service that claims to take your loved items and fix ’em up right.
