Ask Belle: Cap-Sleeve Maxi Dresses for Summer

Hi Belle,

I love the look of maxi dresses but am looking for some with cap sleeves. Any suggestions?

I love a maxi dress.  I can’t wait for summer so I can wear them.  They’re so comfortable, and yet chic at the same time. Cap sleeves aren’t as popular as short sleeves, but I found a few that are worth a look.

SHE Cap Sleeve Drawstring Dress ($40)

Charlotte Russe Cut-Out Maxi Dress ($30)

This dress has a criss-cross open back that’s kind of fun, but the straps are wide enough that you can probably wear a bra.  That’s helpful.

Splendid Ziggy Maxi Dress ($89)

I own this dress in navy.  The side slits keep it comfortable even in the summer heat.
