Nordstrom is having one heck of a sale.  Here are my picks for the best of the clearance section.

Chaus Print Crewneck Sweater ($31)

Sweaters. This sweater is the best cheap deal in the sale.  The length is good.  The print is great–it’s modern, and chic.  Love it.

If drapey, open cardigans are your thing, this Splendid cardi comes in four neutral colors and is perfect for layering.  This gray-and-white stripe sweater has a great casual look for an affordable price.  Plus-size? This Halogen v-neck, cashmere sweater comes in nine great colors for a good price.  Petite? This open-work Halogen sweater is in a great punchy pink (also in misses).

Dresses. The dresses selection is a bit lacking this time around if you need work attire.  Some good casual options and cocktail options though.  Truly, the only dress I liked enough to post about it is this plus-size sweater dress.

Jessica Simpson Caldas Quilted Pump ($43)

Shoes. I think these gunmetal-colored pumps are fun.  If you work in a creative environment, you can pair them with business separates.  If you don’t, they would be a fun party shoe.

The Nordstrom sale has an extensive selection of boots.  These Sam Edelman Penny boots are a great buy that come in four colors (also in wide calf).  If you’re in the market for pumps, these ankle-strap pumps from Michael Kors are cool.  I also like these cap-toe ballet flats in pale beige and snakeskin.

Jewelry. This chunky chain necklace is a great buy at under-$25.  Looking for a New Year’s Eve earring? These Vince Camuto drops are really fun in your choice of silver or gold.  And you know I couldn’t resist a labradorite cuff.
