Belle’s Closet: Recent Purchase Roundup

Writing a blog sometimes causes me to over indulge in online shopping.  But, because I’m particular, a large percentage of what I order is unceremoniously returned.  So when I do find something that I love enough to keep, I feel the need to promote them.

Extra Fine Merino Wool Vee Pullover ($79)

I love this sweater.  It’s light, but not too sheer.  It’s long enough to look great with skinny jeans, but not so long that you can’t tuck it into a skirt.  And even though Merino wool sometimes gives me a case of the itches, I don’t notice it when I wear this sweater.  So I bought it in black as well.

J.Crew Fringed Disc Bracelet ($33)

I moved away from J.Crew for most things, but I still love their shoes and their jewelry.  This disc bracelet was a gift from a friend, so I bought a second one to wear as a pair.  It has a subtle sparkle and a chic look.  I’m also think about ordering this Chanel-like charm bracelet.

Loeffler Tamsin Pump ($262) 

I eyed this pumps for almost two years before I bought them.  Sometimes a sale is all you need to get you to pull the trigger.  The heel is 2.75″, so they’re comfortable.  The dotted calf-hair is also a versatile, subtle animal print.  A nice change from the basic black heels that I’ve worn to death this year.
