Ann Taylor 3/4-Sleeve Sweaterdress ($139)

Forest green is the color I’m currently mad about.  So when I spotted this sweater dress, I had to have it.  It has an empire waist, which isn’t my favorite, but it fits so close to the body that it fits like a sheath.  Ann Taylor also offers a sweater dress with an elbow-length sleeve in dark green.

If you’re looking for something similar for less, I found this Liz Claiborne dress at JCPenney that could be its twin.  They also offer a sweater dress in the same color in a v-neck if you prefer.  That style also comes in plus-sizes.

LOVE the budget friendly JC Penney dress! I’ve been digging all of the emerald and hunter greens available now, so I may just have to pick this one up.

The second link (Ann Taylor dress with elbow length sleeves) actually links out to one of the JCP dresses. Just FYI.

I missed out on the more teal version of this color last season and have regretted it. Looking to combine the retro midi length with the color and sleeves. Your post has inspired me to go looking. Thanks.

Thank you for posting a v-neck version, love it!

Looks like the AT dress is only available online in an L, XL, and XXL. Belle, what size did you get? I’m usually a 4 or 6 in AT clothing, so I’m afraid the available sizes may not work without tailoring (which may be tricky to do with a sweaterdress).

There must have been a sale this weekend. I grabbed mine last week in a S, and it was a little big, but I like that in a sweater dress.

The dress looks lovely. How body con is it? I have a few lumps I’d rather not accentuate.
