My feet are happiest when my heels are 3″ or shorter, but finding a chic heel with a practical height is difficult. I tried on these Marlie heels last week and fell in love. They’re the perfect mix of staple and sophistication.
I wore them for several hours, and was a bit sore. I added a Dr. Scholl’s ball-of-foot insole and the problem was solved. These are a great every day shoe.
I just bough these pumps during the Nordy Anniversary sale and could not be happier with them! The bonus is really that they’re available in extended widths – my feet are super narrow and I can never walk in heels without sliding forward. Amazingly, I’ve been able to get through more than a full workday in these!
I just got the Kimery from Nine West and I am in love. Feeling great in them.
Belle,
Do you buy your heels a half size bigger to accommodate inserts like the ball of foot inserts?
Sometimes.
Belle,
I have these too and love them! Do you think they would be appropriate year round and with tights when the weather cools down? Or are D’Orsay pumps a warmer weather style?
I’ll have to try it in person to say for sure. I’ll keep you posted.
I love these pumps. I also feel best at 3″ or less. I tore my Achilles tendon a couple of years ago and my foot has never felt the same. My current mission is to find a 3″ or less comfortable pair of pumps with ankle straps in teal. I have done a million searches and no luck. **sigh** If you have any ideas I’d love to know. Thanks.
I love these shoes! I have them in black calf hair, and the grey leopard print. They are fun and go with everything!
Thanks for sharing–I’m always looking for comfy pumps. It’s frustrating how hard it can be to find chic shoes in the under 4″ category.
