Leather and leather-look skirts are hot for fall. I’ve tried this one on, and I think it’s one of the best available. I did size up because leather-like fabrics are not as forgiving as wool or cotton.
If it’s a pencil that you’re after, Banana Republic has a lovely one in perforated leather (also in petite). (I’ve also tried this one on, and I liked it a lot.) Ann Taylor has a black faux-leather pencil in misses, petite and tall. Prefer another color? Ralph Lauren has dark brown, and Bailey 44 has graphite grey.
Want a fuller shape? French Connection has a fuller black skirt, while Piperlime has a midi-length, full skirt in navy or black.

Same here! I feel like leather is so heavy that I would want to wear it in colder weather, and I am wary of putting leather on leather (which I’d be doing, if I were wearing my trusty winter office boots). I got a gorgeous leather-and-ponte skirt from Classiques during the Nordstrom sale and I’m eager to figure out how to wear it!
Ditto to KC’s comment…I work in municipal government management and hope there’s a way to make this work for my conservative, all boys club working environment.
Has anyone seen any skirts with leather trim?
