Ask Belle: Help for a Purse Addiction

Aug 25, 2014

Dear Belle,

I have a confession: I am a purse addict.  I love bags.  Love.

Where are your favorite places to buy handbags that cost less than $150, $100?  I’m always looking for a new source.

Ro

Ah, purses.  I love them too.  So many lovely bags, so little time.  Amirite?

My two favorite shop for stylish bags that don’t break the bank is Asos.  They have a wide selection and the prices are quite good for the quality that you’re getting.

Asos Perforated Leather Bag ($125)

I like this tote with a perforated leather panel.  I also like this tan stylish bowler bag with a front pocket, it also comes in oxblood.  This slouchy hobo bag is also a great choice.  This cognac top-handle satchel is a classic.  But my favorite bag is this black satchel with sophisticated details and a slightly unique shape.

Want clutches?  This pony skin clutch bag is lovely.  This stitched leather clutch in pale mauve is great (also in black).  And I like this modern, asymmetrical fold over clutch.

Speaking of bags… I wanted to thank you for the link to The Outnet the other day. I just bought a Rebecca Minkoff chain strap bag in a beautiful scarlet red for less than $110 delivered! It was marked down 50% and then another 30% off… Score! 🙂 Can’t wait to receive it. Thanks for the tip, Belle!

Also try 6pm…they have really great brands (Coach, Michael Kors) for 30-50% off what they usually would cost.

The Mondays: July 22, 2024

The Crowdstrike/Microsoft Meltdown forced me to take a few days off this weekend. No laptop. No billable hours. So we packed Sloane up for a visit to a local llama farm, stopped by the pool, went for coffee, etc. Few things are as funny as watching a 23-month old feed carrots to a ravenous rescue […]
