Premium Peplum Asymmetric Dress ($116)

I wouldn’t usually put a dress like this in the morning post, but I think it’s phenomenal.  I didn’t want to wait until Friday to post it, because I didn’t want it to sell out before I could post it.  It’s a unique dress, in a hot color with a lot of style, but not a high price.  Great for a late summer wedding.

Prefer sleeves?  This ballet pink dress has a deep-v neckline and a peplum.

  1. This dress is phenomenal! I just really really wish I could wear it to work..sigh. The peplum, the details are fantastic..and the price?Unbeatable!!

  2. KS says:

Belle, on the topic of weddings – can you talk black tie for a moment? I used to feel that black tie mandated a floor length gown, but the last few black tie weddings I’ve been to featured an abundance of short, but dressy cocktail dresses. Other than the time of the ceremony (ie, an 8:00 wedding being more formal than a 4PM ceremony), what’s your view on long versus short for black tie weddings? Thanks!

  3. NS says:

Belle, two questions. How can a pear shape wear this? I think not 🙁 and 2 — what kind of bra do you wear here that will let this gorgeous back show beautifully?

  4. Karin says:

For NS, Backless bra. Great invention.

  5. Kelsey says:

This is fantastic. What should would you put with it? Maybe a nude heel?

  6. Anna says:

Ugh, if only this came in a v neck (and the sleeve option wouldn’t work for me cuz cap sleeves make my arms look like sausages 🙁 ).

  7. Lawgirl says:

Now that’s a banger. Love this dress. I too am with Anna – a high neck doesn’t always compute with my size C bust. I wonder if a tailor would make it more scooped? I think a “v” neck would introduce too much busyness in an already busy, bright dress. Thoughts, Belle?

  8. Charleigh says:

Definitely just bought this for an early September wedding in Boston. *Sigh* I’m such a sucker for a good recommendation.
