Capitol Hill Style’s BaubleBar Takeover

Apr 28, 2014

baublebar + shopstyle

This week, five bloggers are taking over BaubleBar to showcase our favorite pieces from their spring collection.  Today, it’s my turn to share the fashion jewelry pieces that are on my wish list for this season.

Among my favorite pieces, I’m feeding my ring addiction with their Pave Wave Set and Pave Tiara Ring Set.  Need a necklace to spice up your cocktail and wedding attire?  This Crystal Trellis Necklace is a fine choice.  And if you’re looking for personalized jewelry, for yourself or someone else, they have a wide selection of necklace, bracelets and rings that you can customize.

You can see the rest of my picks in my on BaubleBar.  You should also search for the Buried Bauble, an item chosen by me to be discounted to $10.  The clue to find it is: Your heart will be all a-FLUTTER over these elegant earrings.

If you want to see some of my picks styled into outfits for the office, casual days and formal occasions, visit my BaubleBar list on Shopstyle.  Each line of items is one complete look.

I partnered with BaubleBar and Shopstyle for this post.  I was provided with a few pieces from their collection.  All pieces featured in my shop and the Buried Bauble were chosen by me and reflect my style.

Cool! Lovely choices, I love that green goddess dress situation.

Hey does anyone know anything about how one finds this Buried Bauble thing? Having typed the word “FLUTTER” in the search bar and come up empty, I am now totally confounded. That is the extent of my detective work ideas. So if anyone has further hints about how this works I’m intrigued.

  2. Maria says:

    Flutter teardrop studs!

  3. Anna says:

I won’t give it away but if you just look on the shop style page, it’s one of the few sets of earrings and they do have flutter in the name. Sort down to jewelry. You can’t miss it.

  4. Meghan says:

    Congrats on this amazing partnership!!

  5. $10 and free shipping…couldn’t resist! Lovely choice.

So disappointed to see this post. What made your blog so refreshing is that you didn’t “partner” with anyone. So goes the world of blogging….

    • Really? You think people should provide you with free entertainment, to the tune of 40+ hours of labor a week? No one should have partnerships, even with companies they truly enjoy and believe in? What a load of selfish crap. I fully expect you are willing to work for free as well.

    • Belle says:

Actually, saying I don’t partner with anyone means you haven’t been reading here very long. I am very choosy about my associations, but I have partnered with several brands to host reader giveaways and I’ve partnered with Lo & Sons, Hanky Panky and LOFT. I have a pre-existing track record of choosing BaubleBar pieces to appear on this blog, that’s why they asked me to partner, not the other way around. This isn’t something you’ll see everyday, but if a brand I truly love comes knocking, esp. if they’re willing to give something to my readers, I’m not going to say no. I do, however, say no to dozens of brands per month because I don’t want this blog to turn into a place where the sponsored posts are a common thing.

  7. Christina says:

If the pieces being shown truly reflect Belle’s style and taste then I see nothing wrong with it. She is a blogger and a new law student so there is absolutely nothing wrong with a little self-promotion every now and then.

  8. Joules says:

Cool collab! I love Bauble Bar.

Beauty Review: Bondi Boost

As I age, I notice many changes in my body. Most are fine. Some are frustrating. Like many women, I lost a lot of hair in my postpartum phase. Being anemic for more than a year after, it didn’t grow back in to its former glory. So I’ve tried any number of shampoos, pills and […]

The Find: Shirts That Don’t Gape

I remember when Rochelle Behrens launched The Shirt — a button-down blouse with anti-gape technology (a patented internal button that keeps the look smooth). The idea seemed brilliant, but at the time, my bust didn’t require an extra button. One baby later, I understand the need for some extra security.
