10th Commandment: February 28

Feb 28, 2014

Being from Montana, winter has little power over me.  Winters in Montana are seemingly endless.  They can start as early as September and end as late as May.  Snow in the summer is by no means unheard of in the Rockies.

But this winter, this winter is a different story.  I am so sick of being cold.  All I can think about is warm weather, sundresses and weekend trips.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to turn up the heat in my condo.  Again.

I actually think I like the Baggu bag better than the more expensive Pottery Barn bag… love those nautical stripes. And you’re not alone in wishing for winter to end. If I have to spend one more morning layering cardigans over my dresses and putting on socks, then wellie socks, then my Hunter boots just to walk from my car to the office, I’m going to cry!

I’ve been following Everlane since they launched. I am a huge fan and love to see you promoting them here. I have their weekender and it’s fantastic. I have even used it for longer (7-14 day) warm-weather trips.

  3. Liz says:

I think the LL Bean boat and tote bags hold up a little better than the Land’s End ones – LLB are stiffer material

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.
