Lumier Blessing in Disguise Mini-Dress ($109)
This dress is equal parts Grecian goddess and Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve. In other words, it’s perfect. And the price? Come home to Momma.
For a more demure, slightly futuristic dress, I recommend this Ted Baker dress. I also like this Tarte jersey sheath with sparkles for just over $100. And if you want a unique dress, I dig the pattern in this Ark & Co. minidress (It would look smashing with black tights. Just make sure they don’t have control top if you’re wearing a mini!).
Prefer your sequins in black? This Singer 22 backless dress stopped me in my tracks. In the under-$100 category, this MM Couture racerback dress is a steal.
Plus-size? Try this short-sleeve, front-knot Vince Camuto or this platinum-colored Calvin Klein. Petite? I found this navy-sequined Ralph Lauren or this Adrianna Papell dress with a flapper skirt. Tall? Have a look at this L’Wren Scott Squiggle Cocktail dress from Banana Republic (also in petite and misses).
As you know, champagne is my booze of choice. Anything with bubbles is, really. But I digress…this Hibiscus and Ginger Champagne Cocktail from Spoon Fork Bacon takes sparkling wine to a whole new level. It only has three ingredients, so it’s not labor intensive. But keep in mind, one of those ingredients is hibiscus flowers soaked in rose syrup, so not something you’ll find at the corner store.
Have a happy and safe weekend! And remember, we have 12 Days of Christmas Stocking Stuffers going up Saturday and Sunday at noon.
LOVE the dress you posted, but the link takes you to a $200 coral dress with sleeves
i have no earthly idea how that happened. Thanks for letting me know. It’s fixed now.
