So last night, at 5:30PM, while I was sitting on my couch, in my Zella Live-In Leggings (love ’em), eating a veggie burrito and watching football, my phone rang.  It was the fine people from Million Second Quiz asking me if I could be in New York at 10:00AM today to compete on their show.  Of course, I immediately booked an Amtrak ticket, found a hotel room and started tossing Black Halo dresses into a garment bag.  Big Apple…here I come.

If you follow me on Twitter or you’ve ever Googled me, you know that I have a thing for game shows like Rep. Blumenauer has a thing for bicycles.  The love is that strong.  So this is a very exciting development.  My heart is all aflutter…

Will I win money?  Gosh, I hope so.  Maybe I’ll win enough to go on a long overseas vacation, maybe I’ll win enough to start a Super PAC, or maybe I’ll just win enough to cover my train ticket, there’s no way to know.  But even if I fall flat on my face, I plan to look good and have fun doing it.

See you soon, but hopefully not too soon.  Perhaps I’ll finish some posts on the train.

xoxo

So i was cast on the show. I beat Brandon (the dude from primetime) to get into the chair and accrued some poiints. But then Miguel came in and kicked me out. I may go back for a second try. The Range: Eyelet Tops for Summer

Airy eyelet fabrics are one of my favorite spring/summer looks. White is, of course, the traditional fabric. But white is tough to wear when you have a toddler, so let’s go with navy this summer.
