Lo & Sons Giveaway Winner

Aug 11, 2013

To enter this week’s Lo & Sons giveaway, you had to tell me what the strangest item in your purse is.  Some of the items you mentioned weren’t strange at all (lipstick, Tums, etc.), but some were down right odd…and hilarious.  Reading the comments made me laugh for days.

Mothers seemed to carry everything from diapers to snacks to Play-Doh.  Dog owners had kibble and toys in their bags.  One woman had a ResQMe tool, which seems a good way to escape from a car.  Some of you had foreign currency, seashells, gym shoes, pocket Constitutions, bottle openers, hot sauce, tools, a deck of cards and various lucky charms and mementos.  Wow.  Awesome comments.

There were 1,597 entries (whoa), and the winner is contestant number 1525:

medications – band-aids, neosporin, advil, etc.

Congratulations, ecdc!  Thank you to everyone who entered, and remember, you can use the discount code CAPITOLHILLSTYLESUMMER to receive 15-percent-off any Lo & Sons bag purchased in August.  They make great work, school, gym or travel bags.  Enjoy!

The Find: Bright and Striped

For the past few years, the wardrobes of many influencers have tilted toward the beige and boring.  I’m all for a good basic, but staple pieces can only take you so far.  Sometimes, you need to wear something that has a little something extra, and this sale-priced tee certainly does.
