Enzo Angiolini Dollton Pumps ($129)

Colored high heels are anything but basic, and they can really brighten an otherwise blah outfit (or day).  I love the soft mauve color of these suede pumps.  The small cutouts also add a bit of modern elegance.  Digging the color, but not the material?  Try these leather Kate Spade pumps or these less expensive Calvin Klein pumps.

Prefer your colored pumps a bit brighter?  Lipstick red is a versatile color choice.  You can also try cobalt or coral.  I also like this t-strap teal and this lush green.  And if you like the pink, but not the pale, check out these vibrant, Elle Woods-inspired pumps.

Ladies who love flats can also embrace bold and bright footwear.  These Nine West flats come in a variety of colors and patterns, but the orange are my favorite.  I also like these bright yellow, scalloped flats.  But I can’t live without my red flats.
