Margritte Crossbody ($48)

I receive a decent amount of reader mail asking for crossbody bag suggestions.  This inexpensive satchel is faux-leather with a classic shape and clean lines.  It also has two inside pockets to hold a decent number of items.

I also like this zip front option that has a sleek profile and comes in several great colors.  Prefer flaps?  The Cambridge Satchel is the original, but it might be a bit too recognizable after it’s turn as the “it bag” last summer.  I also like this bright yellow bag and this tan bag that has rustic vibe to it.

If you’d like something more in a messenger style, Kate Spade has a cool crossbody for sale right now.   This Marc Jacobs bag is also a great choice if you’re looking for something smaller for the weekend.  And I love the simplicity of this Foley + Corinna bag on sale at Zappos right now.

I have the Kate Spade Little Minka bag and get compliments all the time. It is also very well made. Highly recommend.

I splurged on a Chanel WOC a few years ago and I just love it. It’s pricey, but it is a classic. You can wear it as a crossbody or use it as a clutch.

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here.  (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]
