I’m still in denial that google reader is ending. Seems like there are many alternatives, but I don’t know how to choose. Any thoughts?

    • Belle says:

I hate Feedly. The Old Reader doesn’t update correctly. I kept seeing duplicate posts. Bloglovin is what’s left. Hopefully, this will turn out to be a good decision.

      • Pancakes says:

I don’t like Feedly either…too much stuff going on. I liked The Old Reader for a quick second, but you’re right, it doesn’t update well.

Belle, have you found a way to make Bloglovin appear as a scrolling list (like Google Reader)? I hate that I have to click on each thing just to read the post…which is in a whole other window.

      • J says:

I was seeing duplicate posts for a few days, but it’s fine now. Would you reconsider moving to Feedly in addition to Bloglovin? I made the choice to stick with Feedly but would still like to be able to follow your blog.

        • Belle says:

I believe you can still read it on any reader. Feedly should work too. I’m in AOL reader now, and it works fine.

  2. Vanessa says:

Very nice…I really like your blog.^^
Maybe follow each other on bloglovin???
Let me know follow you then back.
    Lovely greets nessa

  3. K says:

Thank you! I’ve been sticking my head in the sand about this, and your sensible, short post convinced me to jump from the sinking google reader ship…see you on the other side!

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
