Contrast Bow Blouse ($49)

Soft blouses are the cornerstone of my separates wardrobe.  I prefer blouses with long or 3/4 sleeves because Washingtonians love, LOVE, their air conditioning.  This contrast trim blouse from Tinley Road has a gorgeous color and a flattering shape (v-neck bow blouses are a little less stuffy than high-neck ones).  The blouse also comes in a gorgeous cobalt.

If you like tie-neck tops, I also found this soft ivory blouse with a 3/4 bracelet sleeve and this inexpensive printed bow blouse.  Prefer sleeveless?  This wave-printed blouse is just $25.  I also like this printed blouse and this high-neck top from Mango that comes in wide selection of colors.

Petite? I like this colorblocked blouse and this jewel-tone long-sleeve blouse.  Plus size? This swingy bow blouse has a touch of lace and this floral print is lovely too.

I really appreciate that you post blouses that are long sleeved. At my office, I am not allowed to wear anything sleeveless. I find it very difficult to find any dress shirts that I like with sleeves. As a result, I have quite a collection of summer cardigans to go over all my sleeveless tops.

My favorites are crepe button down with detachable ties. They are about the most versatile tops ever. Wear them with the bow at the neck, bust level or waist, or without the bow at all.

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
