Maribel Ankle Strap Flat ($79 + 30% off)

I adore this understated gold sandal.  It’s perfect for summer because it’s dressier than a flip-flop, but still fun and relaxed.  And since it’s on sale, you can get it for a great price.

Not feeling the gold?  It also comes in black and tawny brown.

Also in the metallic category, I love these Dolce Vita sandals with the double strap.  These Ivanka Trump sandals are a feminine take on the gladiator sandal.  If you are looking for something inexpensive and cute, these Kimchi Blue sandals have a perforated leather look.  And these Nine West sandals just scream summer to me.

Looking to splurge on a sandal that would be perfect for every day but also appropriate for a casual or outdoor wedding?  These L.K. Bennett’s are positively mesmerizing.

P.S. For years, the posts have gone up at 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM and 1:00PM.  This week, I’m going to try moving them to 10:00 AM, noon and 2:00PM.  Why?  The morning posts seem to get buried in a flood or morning blog content, and I want to see if this is a better fit.  If not, we’ll go back to the old schedule next week.

I just tried to buy the BR sandals, and the discount unfortunately does not apply to leather goods. I’m trying to decide if I should pay full price or wait for another discount.

I like the idea of later posts- I feel as if I have consumed all content in the morning and if I have free time in the afternoon there is nothing new!

I second that! I like having something to read at when I eat lunch at my desk. Then, there is always that 3pm “will this day ever end?” drag when you have to escape work for a bit!

As a Central Timezone reader, I miss the 9:00 a.m. post already…I liked browsing it first thing in the morning when I’m catching up on emails, voicemails, etc.

A few months ago, my husband killed two of my plants. I was out of town for several weeks, and while I was away, he apparently forgot that plants need water to live. So when I returned, my snake plant and my Calamondin tree were both dead, while his braided money tree continued to thrive. […]

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
