10th Commandment: April 15

Apr 15, 2013

Today, we’re going to do something a little different with our Monday.  Sephora is having one of their rare 15-percent-off for V.I.B.s sales.  To help you take full advantage of this discount code, today’s posts will be all about beauty products that I love or am looking forward to trying this spring.

The suggestion for these posts came from a reader, and I think it’s a good one, so I’ll see you back here for the best beauty from Sephora.  But first, how about a few makeup brush sets?

  1. Val says:

The anthropologie Ina boat neck dress from last week is now on sale for $90. All sizes left

  2. LS says:

Hey Belle I have a vague memory of you commenting that Sephora brushes “leaked” black dye. Am I misremembering? I’ve been in the market for good brushes since my Sonia Kashuk fell apart…

  3. BN says:

Do you apply primer with a brush? If so, which one? If not, how do you apply it? I feel like I loose a lot of product applying it with my fingers…
    Thanks!!

    • Belle says:

No, I like a wide sponge applicator. You lose some product to the sponge, but I like having something disposable.

  4. Shelley says:

I would go to Sephora’s site after going to ebates.com first so you get 4% cash back –

This is a link, but Belle probably has one too – https://www.ebates.com/rf.do?referrerid=u%2BRkQhxFT5oW2H4FXyWEOg%3D%3D

    That way it’s extra savings.

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
