Ask Belle: Unique Stud Earrings

Mar 27, 2013

Hi Belle,

I can’t wear dangly earrings because my toddler thinks pulling on them is great fun.  I know you like studs, and I’m hoping you can recommend a few pairs under-$50.  My bruised lobes thank you.

Jenna

Tis true, I am a fun of stud earrings, and having spent some time around the under-36-months-old set, I know that their love of shiny, dangly objects can lead to painful encounters.  Here are a few pairs of studs that I thought were stylish and in your price point.

Kendra Scott Dira Studs ($50)

If you’re looking for dainty and pretty, I like the Kendra Scott studs above.  I also found these crystal Shashi studs, and these silver and mother-of-pearl earrings.  And these coral studs are definitely on my shopping list.

As for other pairs that caught my eye, these teeny-tiny circle studs in rose gold are adorable.  These wishbone studs are hopefully lucky.  And if you’re looking for a pop of color, these orange enamel studs are the ticket.

Need to spend under-$20?  I love the deep blue of these druzy studs, or you can go with white metal and abalone.  And these knot studs are a great buy at $10.

Am I the only one flashing back to my brownies/girl scout pin over the Kendra Scott studs?

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
