One. This striped sweater is made extra chic by the addition of the floral-print collar. If you’re looking for something with a bit more drama, this striped sweater has a gold collar detail. I’m also positively smitten with this Raoul sweater with copper and pink stripe accents (the pattern also comes in a bell-shaped skirt). And if you’re just looking for something under-$100, try this vibrant orange number or this peter pan-collar sweater.
Plus size? Try this striped henley from Land’s End or this Ralph Lauren pullover.
Two. I love this enamel dome bangle with its lush verdant green. If you would prefer a pattern in your enamel, this Kandinsky bangle from Nordstrom is also gorgeous. And if you’re looking for something inexpensive, this enamel bangle set is just $6.
Three. I love lightweight scarves for all seasons, but they are especially stylish in the spring. You can throw one over a silk blouse or a light sweater for some effortless layering. This seafoam color is lovely, but I think that an ivory scarf and a grey scarf are staples.
Four. Wide belts with a little something extra are great pieces for any woman’s wardrobe. Wear them over work dresses, pencil skirts or cocktail attire. This twisted belt is a favorite of mine, but I also love this high-waist belt and this plus-size ring belt. If you want something skinnier, I.am.obsessed with this metal bar belt.
Five. How cute is this dress? I can’t believe it is under-$100! If you’re looking for a dress to attend summer weddings in, this is the dress. I also love this Milly dress and this frugal gather front minidress. And if you just want a little eye candy to brighten your day, try this Jenny Kayne racerback dress.
Six. This dress takes the tie-neck blouse to a new level with a not-so-perfect bow at the collar. I also like this v-neck bow blouse from C. Wonder, and this split shoulder halter style blouse.
Seven. Sometimes I just need to add an item to the set because it speaks to me, this is such an item. The abstract pleating, the double layered skirt, the soft color…epic. Nothing else compares. Let’s just take a moment to appreciate this fine frock.
Eight. I know some women aren’t comfortable showing their toes, even in the warm weather months. So a closed toe sandal like this Tory Burch pair is the perfect solution. Need a less expensive pair? These Topshop sandals are fantastic.
Nine. If you’re looking to add the hottest color of the year to your wardrobe, but if you aren’t sure you look good in green, this ring is a great option. I also love this green cabochon ring with two-tone metal, and this gorgeous green onyx ring. And if you want something really different, try this organic-looking rock ring.
Ten. A pastel bag is a great accessory for spring. This mint bag is a lovely choice. I also like this lilac dome satchel, this blush, studded barrel bag or this pale blue Rebecca Minkoff bag.
That navy dress is perfection.
I’m still swooning over the Liberty everything at J. Crew … just trying to figure out which pieces should actually make it home.
Obsessed with that J.Crew Liberty top. Praying that it will go on sale sometime soon…May also just have to start saving up! Great find!
Belle,
As a long time fan, I am usually on board with your weekly picks. I hope that in future weeks, you will chose more risky, fashion-forward looks. I think the J. Crew liberty sweater is the same nautical idea that we see every spring.
Still your fan,
