1. Bobbi Brown Caviar and Oyster Palette ($75) // 2. Milly silk georgette and lace blouse ($285) // 3. Oscar de la Renta Clip Earrings ($93) // 4. Kain Stina Paneled Dress ($155) // 5. Kara Ross Monitor and Gold Bangle ($70) // 6. 3.1 Phillip Lim Draped Neck Top ($189) // 7. Rachel Roy Ankle Strap Sandal ($295)

One. How gorgeous are the colors in this palette? Shades of nude, pewter, mauve, silver and black are perfect for creating a smoky-eye or just adding a hint of drama to a daytime look.  If you’d like a palette that has similar colors (plus some blushes and powders) for less, this NYX palette is just $25.

Two. I love the mix of silk and lace in this top.  It would look fantastic with a skinny black pant or tucked into a slim skirt with front slit.  Want a similar look for less?  I found this all black top and this grey top with lace accents.  I also like this all lace top with a nude backing and this lace short sleeve top from Intermix.

Three.  The pretzel-twisted earrings mix gold and pewter for a two-tone look that allows you to wear other gold and silver pieces with them.   So if you’re ever wondering how to wear your gold and silver jewelry at the same time, the trick is to find a unifying piece or two that bring it all together.  I also like these Ralph Lauren Bridle Earrings and these Tahari studs.  You could also use this liquid metal two-tone bracelet or this twisted two-tone bangle.

Four. Looking for a sexy, fitted cocktail dress?  This raceback dress with colorblock panels is pretty fantastic.  And the price isn’t too shabby either.  If you’re looking for a similar dress for less, this minidress from the junior’s department at Nordstrom is just $48.  If you like the neckline, but would like something a bit more demure, try this sequin David Meister, this Aidan Maddox dress or this lace racerback dress.

Five.  The mix of metal and leather on this bracelet is pretty cool.  I also like this leather bangle with a lion head.  It also comes in a wider version.  But my favorite of all is this twisted leather and rose gold bracelet.

Six. This draped neck top from Phillip Lim is gorgeous.  I love the earthy, currant color and the slit sides.  If you need something less-than $100, this draped top from Banana Republic has a deep purple color.

Seven.  The combination of colors, textures and materials in these sandals is to.die.for.  Rachel Roy also makes them in an all nude with snakeskin version.  Prefer a flat version?  These Loeffler Randall sandals are on point.  Need something wallet friendly?  Try these Sam Edelman almost-flat sandals for $100 and these Dorothy Perkins snake, suede and leather high heels.

Add to Cart: Five Recent Amazon Purchases

Since my daughter was born, Amazon has claimed so much of my money that I had to buy stock just to get some of it back.  Between the formula, onesies, fruit pouches, diapers, wipes, and ever evolving list of baby development gear, I could not survive without Prime.   My husband no longer notices the […]
