Happy Hour: Citrus and White

Aug 17, 2012

Style Stalker Cafe Flora Dress (Shopbop, $180)

I spotted this dress and immediately loved it.  The sheer fabric, the triangle details and the pleated skirt are fantastic.  I would wear it with grey sandals or nude open-toe pumps for the rest of the summer.  Then, break out the black tights and black heels when the weather turns cold.  You could even add a belt if you wanted more definition at the waist.

Thyme and Lime Lemonade

I usually don’t care for herbs in my cocktails.  However, this citrus and thyme concoction is bliss.  And since the vodka is optional, you can make it for family gatherings and serve it to all of your guests.

Happy Hour

I saw this dress on NastyGal and loved it as well. But I've bought two dresses from StyleStalker before and found the quality to be really lacking for the price. I still want this one though! I think I'd need to try it on in a store first.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
