Tie-Neck Dot Top (J.CREW, $118)

Every season, there is one J.CREW piece that I know I’ll see everywhere.  This season, it’s this navy-dot top with the tie-neck.  And given its versatility, classic styling and simple print, it’s not hard to see why.

Looking for something similar under-$50?  This sleevless Nine West top has a simple black and white dot print and tie-neck.

Check back at 1:00PM for a new take on the Two Ways feature.

Belle I'm so excited to see how you style this blouse! I just got the less expensive version from the J.Crew Factory Store… sans bow.

I tried this on last night at Friendship Heights and I hated it. Too blousy, no shape, and I have never liked ruffles or bows near the neck. Now I'm glad I won't have a item owned by every other woman in DC 🙂

  3. EK says:

You can't possible post too many tie-neck blouses for me. I'm obsessed with the Banana Republic piece and loving the lower priced versions as well.

  4. Belle says:

JS: Like all J.CREW pieces (unfortunately), this one is vanity sized to the max. I had mine taken in (cost $22) looks great.

It's already posted if you're curious. They usually are. So no need to wait until 1.

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here.  (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]
