1,000 Readers Entered, but Only One Can Win

Jul 19, 2012

Last week, I posted a review and a giveaway for the handbag company Lo & Sons, and their structured, functional bags were certainly a hit.  When all was said and done, we had over 1,000 entries for the giveaway.  One-Thousand-Entries!!! I still cannot believe it.

The winning was number 585, and that comment belonged to Ashley who posted that “The O.M.G in Coastal Blue would be a perfect bag for me!”  Congratulations!!! Ashley watch your e-mail for your confirmation, so you can connect with Derek to collect your prize.

Now, to the 1,006 of you who did not win, I hope you will consider buying one of these great bags for yourself.  I have never found a bag that was as perfect for The District’s on-the-go, commuter lifestyle than the Lo & Sons bags.  And don’t forget, the company provided a 25-percent-off code for those of you who would like to make a purchase.  The code is CAPHILLSTYLE and it will work until July 31st.

Lastly, I have been informed that Lo & Sons is now selling stylish leather camera bags for all you shutterbugs out there.  I especially loved this chic Claremont bag with its slightly equestrian styling and chic taupe color.

Thank you to everyone who entered, it was wonderful to see all the enthusiasm for this great product.  Look for more giveaways in the future.

Belle – I am torn between the O.G. and the O.M.G. can you comment as to which you think would be better for weekend travel as both a carry on purse and sight-seeing bag?

  2. annie says:

Congrats to ashley – love the give aways!

Thanks for the chance to win an awesome bag. I just bought mine last week and I should get it TOMORROW!! I got a OMG bag in raspberry. Looking forward to using it for my honeymoon in October.

  4. DB says:

Does anyone who has one of these bags have input on whether the OMG is too big for an everyday bag? Thanks Belle for the info and giveaway!

  5. MominHeels says:

    Belle –

Any insight on why the TT Travel Tote is so much pricier than the Savoy? I'm partial to the Savoy for size as I carry a ton with me. But now I'm worried I'm missing something about the TT!!

    Thanks for the discount!

Lucky Ashley! This is the push I needed to finally order the OMG in espresso… which I've only been lusting after for a year now! Thank you Belle – I've seen Lo & Sons on other blogs (Cup of Jo) but I really trust your honesty and integrity when it comes to product reviews, so your enthusiasm for this product really reassured me that it is the real deal!

To the questions about OG vs. OMG — I've debated the same thing, but Lo & Sons allows free exchanges or refunds within 10 days, which should be enough time to decide if you want to go bigger or smaller! That's my plan 🙂

  7. Belle says:

DB: I have a OMG at my house, and it's PRETTY big. Probably the size of a weekender. So I think an OG would be too big, because the OMG is almost too big.

  8. Caitlin says:

I'm ready to order the O.M.G. in espresso after traveling with a heavy leather purse this week. Question: does the O.M.G. feel fairly lightweight?

  9. Belle says:

Caitlin: It only gets as heavy as you fill it up to be. Pretty light on its own.

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
