The craftmanship of Reem Acra is insane. I can see FLOTUS working all these dresses. I hope you feel better, Belle! 🙂

I am in LOVE with these. I have to buy an evening gown for a Gala in September I'm receiving an award at and this inspires me. Too bad these are way out of my budget. Any ideas of good places to look for evening gowns for a very petite (just over 5 feet) woman?

I'm pretty sure that Reem Acra dresses the angels in heaven. What a treat for the eyes!

@DCQuarterlife, rent one! you should check out Rent the Runway, I have used it for the last black tie wedding and the last fundraiser/gala I attended I rented a Carmen Marc Valvo gown for 1/10th its price and got a great deal renting a Badgley Mischka gown too… great way to wear a designer you covet for less and get to wear a dress that you (or at least I) have no business spending full price to buy!

I've already decided to splurge on an ivory or nude dress from one of Reem Accra's collections for my wedding. And I'm not engaged nor have I ever been the type to plan any detail of my wedding in advance. And I probably won't be able to afford the dress, but a girl can hope (or find a good dressmaker).

These are the best thing since Elie Saab!

I second the RTR recommendation – just scheduled my 5th rental for this weekend and every piece has been a knockout. Helps with the “spend your money on everyday clothes, not special occasion clothes” advice.

I third RTR! I have a dress coming next weekend for my cousin's wedding. I wish they'd been around during inauguration time. I spent $300 on a great dress that I'll probably never wear again. You could invest in a classic black gown or something if you want to get more bang for your buck, but then it won't feel as special. If you rent, your spending less than you would on a meh dress that, in the age of facebook pictures, you're probably only going to wear once, but you get an awesome designer gown. They're customer service is awesome if you have any problems and you get two sizes plus you can rent a back up dress in two sizes for $25.

I want all of these dresses on my body now. Especially the two blue ones. And the pink one with the sleeves. And the gorgeous one at the end. And… yeah, all of them. Yum.
