Tory Burch Judi Contrast Print Dress ($425)

Since this has turned into a posting day filled with dresses, I thought that I would add one more.

I love this dress.  I love it so much that I just had to share it.  I love it so much that I searched online for three hours in the hopes of finding to comparable pieces for a 10th Commandment feature and could find nothing.  I was crushed.

So now I have shared my adoration, and my bitter disappointment.

Love that! I almost bought it on Rue La La the other day for 1/3 of the price but just couldnt justify spending that kind of money, even at the discount.

  2. Belle says:

It was on RueLaLa? Damn. Now I need to take their daily emails out of my spam filter.

  3. E says:

If you really like it and you'll wear it a couple times a month, it's worth $400. I wouldn't spend that kind of money on something super trendy, but this dress is more of a high-quality wardrobe staple.

  4. Betsy says:

I love it, too, but for that kind of money, I'd need to be able to wear it to work. Could I do that? In a (small) state Capitol?

  5. E says:

Betsy – I don't know what Belle would say, but this dress would be fine in my DC law office, which is likely more formal than a small state capitol. I'd pair it with a white or bright jacket for meetings and without a jacket for normal days at the office.

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.
