Lacquered Link Necklace (Forever 21, $11)

I was really surprised to find this piece at Forever 21, purveyor of trends from hot neon to tribal.  But I think that it could be a great piece, I would need to see it in person to be sure, at a great price.

Check back at 1:00PM for Two Ways to wear this necklace.

I would order it online, but Forever 21 doesn't do returns on jewelry. Maybe I'll stop on the way home from work to check it out.

  2. heatherskib says:

Gorgeous. I'll have to look for something similar that is sterling or gold.

  3. Lindsey says:

What a find! The jewelry selection in the stores always seems to be lacking and picked over…for $11 I think I can manage taking my chances on this. The quality probably won't be good at all, but it looks like I could get a few wears out of it!

  4. GoGoGo says:

I love all the love for Forever 21 on this blog. It's quite an endorsement for a place that's so very cheap. I love it.

I pick up earrings there all the time. They're the price of an iced coffee, and I actually get a ton of mileage of them.

just checked the store in Metro Center- they don't have it there.

  6. Sarah says:

gah they are sold out online!

Sometimes you have to see a piece of clothing in the wild to truly appreciate it, seeing it in the store just isn’t enough. Grey jeans, for example. On a shelf, not for me. At brunch, on a woman who looked relaxed and chic? Now, I need them.

2013 Outfit Restyle: Bring the Tweed

The theme of 2013 was more is more. Wearing a bracelet? Wear five. Add a belt. Add a necklace, maybe two . . . make it three. So when I look at outfits from a decade ago, my first instinct is always: do less.
