A Summer of Chevrons

May 16, 2012

1: Printed Bandeau Swimsuit ($30) 2: Seabird Cardigan ($88) 3: Brandy Pham Bangle ($88 each) 4: Chevron Striped Scarf ($48) 5: Now or Nectar Top ($68) also similar tank 6: Brahmin Dome Bag ($295)

Polyvore Set Here.

The chevron trend has been building for awhile, but it’s recently reached critical mass.  Sharply-pointed stripes are everywhere this season.

Here are some chevron pieces that I love for this season.  I adore the Brahmin bag most of all, but a friend has assured me that I can DIY a linen or leather bowling bag and achieve a similar result.  And since highlighter yellow isn’t my first choice, I just may give that a whirl.

Oh man! love chevron!!! And really love the chevron handbag! I've never heard of Brahmin before, are they quality bags?

  2. Belle says:

H: They're very nice bags. Dooney and Bourke would be the most comparable quality and price wise.

How would you DIY that bag? Sounds interesting! Can you describe? Thanks!

I am also interested on how to dye your own bag… maybe another crafty post?
