Since we’re exiting February and moving a step closer to warm weather, I thought I would use this week to show you some great spring and summer shoes under-$100. So let’s start with a pair of work-appropriate pumps…
Nine West Austin Pumps (Zappos, $56)
Check back at 1:00PM for Two Ways to wear these shoes.

These are so cute!
I am in desperate need of a pair of nude pumps to go with spring/summer dressers for weddings this summer that are a comfortable, walkable height(~2″). Any suggestions?

What about these kitten heels? They feel a little professional to me, but they could work. https://ow.ly/9l1qL
Honestly, I'd do a 3″ wedge instead. Just as comfortable, more stability and a little fancier.

When I first saw these heels in store I was concerned that the weird patenty-shine on the leopard print looked weird. I was under the impression that animal print should at least look sort of like fur, even if it's just cloth. Thoughts?

I've had terrible experiences with the quality of Nine West shoes — I've found they fall apart much faster than other shoes at the same pricepoint and nine west customer service has no interest in addressing the issue or helping an unhappy customer. I once had a pair of boots I ordered from the website where the heel FELL OFF within a week of receiving them… and even when I pointed that out the CSR only said to take it to a cobbler — not even a partial refund to cover the cost of the repair.

Laura, I have recently discovered Ivanka Trump shoes courtesy of Belle's mention in the comments here a few weeks back, and I got this pair in black patent… they're amazing! (and also come in nude)

@Jules I'm sorry you've had such bad experience with Nine West shoes- mine have always been wonderful and remained in great condition (although I've never bought boots from them), and when the bow/button fell off of one of the heels after a few weeks, I emailed CS and was immediately sent a new pair of shoes. It's interesting that customer service experiences can be so different, you'd think the company would have a blanket policy.
