Gilt City Hosts VIP Designer Sale

Feb 1, 2012

It’s no secret that I love Gilt Groupe.  The designer flash sale site has helped me stock my wardrobe with Nanette Lepore suits, Milly dresses, W Hotel sheets and Rebecca Minkoff bags purchased at steep discounts.  Now, the visionaries at Gilt are bringing their designer wares to D.C. for an in person sample sale.

That’s right, a warehouse full of the best Gilt Groupe has to offer, and you can buy a ticket for $10 or under.

The sale occurs on February 11th.  The tickets are $10 for the first slot, and $5 for each slot after.  If you want the chance to get your hands on a ticket to the greatest designer sale that D.C. has ever seen, scurry your little fingers across that keyboard and head over to Gilt City D.C. to buy your ticket.

Just tried to buy a $10 ticket and it said the event was sold out. Hopefully, I'll get off the waitlist…

  2. Belle says:

The $5 ticket is still available, did you buy one of those? https://www.giltcity.com/dc/warehousesaledcgilt

  3. Sam says:

I did buy the $5 ticket as a backup, but thankfully I just received a notice that I got off the wait list and was able to get the earlier ticket! Looking forward to this event.

P.S. If this ends up selling out, I now have an extra $5 ticket for the 12 PM slot 🙂

  4. Ellen says:

Sam, do you still have that $5 ticket? I got completely shut out!

  5. Sam says:

Yes, Ellen, my $5 ticket is still available. If possible, direct message me @thingsicovet and I'll happily sell it to you.

Beauty Review: Bondi Boost

As I age, I notice many changes in my body. Most are fine. Some are frustrating. Like many women, I lost a lot of hair in my postpartum phase. Being anemic for more than a year after, it didn’t grow back in to its former glory. So I’ve tried any number of shampoos, pills and […]

The Find: Shirts That Don’t Gape

I remember when Rochelle Behrens launched The Shirt — a button-down blouse with anti-gape technology (a patented internal button that keeps the look smooth). The idea seemed brilliant, but at the time, my bust didn’t require an extra button. One baby later, I understand the need for some extra security.

The Mondays: March 18, 2024

This weekend was a tricky one. The warm weather and bright sunshine of last weekend disappeared in a flurry of wet snow trapping our very active 18-month-old in the house with us. Plus, our babysitter cancelled, so neither of us feels ready for the week ahead. But in between making mac-and-cheese and watching Aristocats for […]
