10th Commandment: January 3

Super 120s Wool Skirt (J.Crew, $118)

Since we’re starting a new year, I thought I would fill January’s Two Ways posts with basic pieces.  This is my favorite pencil skirt. It’s well-made, a year-round weight and a great wardrobe staple.  Check back at 1:00PM for Two Ways to wear this skirt.

Also, you may have noticed that it says Two Ways and not Three Ways. I decided to do two outfit posts per week, one on Tuesday and one on Thursday.  To do that, I need to shrink it down from Three Ways to Two Ways.  But it’s still a 33% increase in outfit posts.

I love this skirt, I think I must own it in at least five colors!

Do J.Crew's colors match from year-to-year? I have a black Super 120s skirt from a couple of years ago and wanted to get a matching new suit jacket to go with it but wasn't sure if they would match for sure.

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here.  (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]
