Giveaway: Benefit Winner Announced

Dec 19, 2011

Last week, I hosted a giveaway for a Benefit “Glam, Therefore I Am” Face Palette. We had 177 entries, and the gods of random generation chose number 75.

That entry came from Smeeshu, who wrote about her yuletide activities, thusly:

My sister and I would get up at 5am to open gifts. We’d have a late breakfast of creamed chipped beef on toast (aka SOS). Nasty. The rest of the day was spent in our PJs, eating candy and watching movies.

Chipped beef? Yikes.

Thanks to everyone who entered, look for more giveaways in the future.

My personal Christmas miracle 😉 Thanks, Belle!

  2. Jess says:

Oh my word! Didn't realize that SOS was so universal. Our families version was cream of mushroom soup with tuna on toast. Who thinks this stuff up?

  3. Shelena says:

I guess the winner is lucky had a advanced christmas gift. Congratulation to the winner number 75.

Tuna SOS? That might be worse than beef. My dad got the “recipe” while he was in the Navy. I think it's a military thing!

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
