For the next four weeks, each of the Happy Hour posts will feature a holiday-themed cocktail. Given my hatred of Starbucks’ Red Cups and holiday music, this is as close to Christmas cheer as I get.
1 oz Vanilla Vodka
1 oz Hazelnut liqueur
1/2 oz Butterscotch Schnapps
2 oz Ginger Beer
Cinnamon stick
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a shaker and shake over ice. Pour over ice into a rocks glass and garnish with Cinnamon stick.

Instead of a cocktail dress, I thought I would put up this chocolate sequin pullover. It would look lovely with ivory dress pants, a cream pleated skirt or over a grey chiffon strapless dress. It’s casual, but the sequins keep it cocktail.
I happened to read this as I was rocking out to Mariah Carey's “All I want for Christmas is you” while drinking a delicious peppermint mocha out of the delightful Starbucks red cup – BLISS! Happy Friday!
