Giveaway: Kendra Scott Pendant Winner

Oct 31, 2011

There were 244 entries for the Kendra Scott giveaway.  The Random Number Generator drew entry 198 from the hat.  The winner is ELZ:

“Never rest until your good is better and your better best.- Janet Reno (attributable to others, I am sure).”

As for my favorite quote, thanks to years for doing speech and debate there are many.  But here are three that I am particularly fond of:

“Statistics are like string bikinis.  What they show is nice, but it’s what they’re hiding that’s important.” –high school German teacher

You can never make the same mistake twice. The second time you make it, it’s not a mistake, it’s a choice.”–Lauren Conrad

(I know, no one is more surprised than I am that LC is actually wise.)

“Being nice to someone you dislike doesn’t mean you’re fake. It means that you are mature enough to tolerate your dislike towards them.”–unknown

Congratulations to ELZ and thanks to everyone that entered!

The Range: Lounge/Travel Sets

If the pandemic did one thing for women, it brought back sweatpants as acceptable attire. But then, fashion decided that we couldn’t wear regular sweat pants, we needed to wear fancy sweat pants. And while it would be easy to disparage the ideal of luxury sweatpants made for chic, casual wear…have you felt how soft […]

WFH Outfit: Denim and Black

Does anyone really know how to dress for a rainy February? It’s not winter. It’s not spring. Sweaters seem heavy. Just a shirt feels like you’ll be cold. It’s a puzzle.
