Bobbi Brown Celebrates 20th Anniversary

Sep 29, 2011

How amazing is this lip palette?  The selection of colors is perfect for any occasion and every skintone with neutrals, burgundies, pinks of every shade and more.  Twenty colors for $60, a steal.  Plus, you can always mix a few of the shades together to create your own signature color.

I don’t usually wear lip color (because I chew it off within an hour and I’m too lazy to reapply, go figure), but this palette has me rethinking that position.  I especially adore the berries and corals.  Get yours before their gone!

I'm not sure if this was already sent, but if you chew your lip color off, you should try a lipstain. I love them b/c I can put it on carefully in the morning and then not worry about reapplying all day, but they're not super drying like some of those matte, long-lasting lipsticks. I tried CoverGirl Outlast, and while it had great color, it was terrible from a durability perspective, but then I tried Revlon's Just Bitten line and I'm a convert–great color saturation, very long-lasting, and the pen/marker itself stays moist and functional. (I have it in “forbidden” which looks super dark in the swatch, but is great on — I have light/medium olive skin and it's both a very good summer color (when I'm much darker) and a fall color (when a little more jewel color/darker lip is appropriate). I also am in love with the Neutrogena Revitalizing Lip Balm (makes my lips feel fantastic, and a great color/smell)

I agree with JP! Lip stains are my favorite. I get compliments on mine all the time. Just add a layer of capstick on top, and you're ready to go!

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
