Go Brown or Go Home

This Fall, there are a number of chic nail polish colors to choose from when picking your hue.  The trouble is that not all of them are work appropriate.  I don’t know what my Boss would say if I wore teal or bright orange on my tips, but I imagine it wouldn’t be positive.

Luckily, my favorite Fall trend, brown nail polish, is neutral enough for most workplaces.  It all depends on which shade you choose.

Myself, I like a little shimmer, so I’ll be rocking Espresso and All Hail McQueen.  I also love the sable shade, Prince Charming.  And for the chocoholics in the room, Suzi Says Da! is the perfect just-dark-enough shade.

So if you’re bored of baby pink and not ready for bright red, trade in your traditional polishes for a shade of brown.  It’s accessible, on trend and the perfect compliment to any skin tone.

My current favorite is called Tea and Crumpets by Essie…it's a very light brown, almost nude, and so perfect for the office!

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.

The Find: My Best Workout Shorts

For eight years, I have worn the same workout shorts. Every year, an influencer tries to sell me new shorts. I order them. I try them on. They pale in comparison to the shorts I already own. I return them.
