Burgundy pumps are hot for Fall.  One request though, don’t wear them with black.  Ick.  Burgundy and black is a combo that just screams greasy, IT guy from New Jersey.  Double ick.

Instead, wear them with charcoal grey or navy.  And since burgundy tights are definitely not for everyone, wear them with pants.  That’s right, I’m advocating the wearing of pants.

Does this mean in general you wear tights with heels?
I always thought that looked a little odd and have stuck to heels + bare legs (could see hose here, but I refuse to wear it), or tights + boots.

  2. I wouldn't necessarily do burgundy with black tights, but burgundy pumps + a nude blouse + a black skirt would be really cute. I don't think there are any colors I would rule out pairing together – they just need to be offset by the right pieces.

    Belle,

PLEASE put together an outfit (or three) with these shoes! I just bought a pair on impulse over the weekend, and thought you would be the perfect person to ask how to wear them. I generally don't have any problems putting together an outfit, but I'm kind of stumped with these. I love them, but help!

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.
