It's a fashion event in support of a political group that's based in DC and has a major presence on the Hill. Seems perfectly appropriate for the audience of this blog, regardless of whether Belle's a supporter.

I agree! I really was just curious since Belle is a republican. I'm not criticizing or disagreeing, I really was just curious. It's nice to see her promoting this event.
